Police teams have been constituted to ensure imposition of Section-144 on New Year night.
According to police sources on Wednesday, the government has imposed a ban on aerial firing, one-wheeling, fireworks, playing loud speakers at public places on the eve of New Year.
Violators would be dealt according to the law, sources added.
