At least ten people deteriorated after consuming poisonous sweet in Shadman Town area of Malir in Karachi on Thursday.
The affected people were rushed to a private clinic for medical treatment from where they were referred to Jinnah Hospital.
The doctors of Jinnah Hospital said that the condition of seven people, including two women, is stated to be critical while three were released from the hospital after first aid.
Police have started the investigation of the incident.
