CDA fails to secure possession of Sector I-11

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to secure complete possession of I-11 Sector despite a lapse of 25 years as it could not get alums vacated.

National Assembly (NA) Committee on Secretariat had directed CDA to launch the operation. The survey was also conducted of slums but district management kept on avoiding the operation.

CDA had promised to 400 allottees of I-11/1 to allot them alternative plots in this sector but the promise was not delivered.

The allottees have appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and CDA chairman to take notice of the situation and ensure taking over possession of land, initiation of development work and handing over possession of plots to them so that they could construct their houses.
