The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday served notices on Sindh chief secretary, secretary and Port and Shipping director general over an application moved by the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) against the sale of two islands.

The application moved through MB Khatian Advocate noted that Dingi and Bhandar Islands were the property of the Sindh government while Port Qasim Authority sold the same land to a private party.

It also maintained that an agreement was signed with a foreign company without the consent of the Sindh government (reference to MoU signed between Bahria Town and a US investor), which was also illegal.
