Rangers arrest 38 in targeted operation

At least one person was shot dead and Rangers arrested 38 people during targeted operations in Karachi on Sunday. One person was shot dead in Sachal town while another sustained bullet injuries at Dhobi Ghaat. Meanwhile, Rangers launched an operation in Bilal Colony on a tip-off. More than 1000 Ranger personnel were deputed for the operation. The Rangers sealed the area and conducted door-to-door search operations. The Rangers arrested 38 people. Caches of arms were confiscated during the operation and Rangers shifted three of those arrested. Spokesman for Sindh Rangers said that one Sub-Machine Gun (SMG), one MP-5 rifle, 19 TT pistols, one Satellite phone and one telescope were recovered from the possession of those arrested.
