Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday questioned motives behind hyping Taliban’s attack on Swat-based child rights campaigner Malala Yousufzai. “Why is the attack on Malala being exaggerated so much?” he remarked, adding that the attack was the result of government policies. He said that the blood of humanity was dripping from the hands of those condemning this incident. The attack was being used, he opined, adding that religious clerics were being asked to condemn it. “Malala is our daughter and we know how to respect our daughters,” he said. The JUI-F leader further said that Ulemas were doing politics courageously.
