LG polls an excuse to postpone general elections, says Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that PTI rejects the Local Government Ordinance 2012 passed by the Sindh government. Speaking at a press conference held at PTI’s Central Media Cell, Qureshi said that the ordinance has laid down foundations of an administrative and political divide within Sindh and added that had the assembly approved the bill with consensus, there would have been no voices of mischief and ill will. He said that the ruling government in Sindh with their ally MQM has taken the shortcut. He said that PTI would protest against the ordinance and support Sindh Bachao Committee. He added that PTI Sindh President Nadir Laghari was in contact with all parties opposing the ordinance.
