A man died here due to police torture while police said that the man was a drug addict and died due to unavailability of drugs.
According to the details, 35-year-old Sajid, resident of Liaqatabad area, died in the prison in suspicious circumstances.
He was jailed two days ago in a theft case.
The body of the man was sent to a hospital for post mortem.
