Eight killed as another van plunges into ravine in Kahuta

At least eight people were killed and several others were injured on Monday as a passenger van, carrying more than 15 people, plunged into a gorge near Kahuta, the second such incident in 24 hours. According to police sources, the latest mishap took place in Anwar area of Kahuta region. Police said the ill-fated van was carrying passengers who were returning from the funeral prayer of one of the deceased of Sunday’s accident in Kahuta. The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
