The law enforcement agencies (LEAs), especially police, must maintain law and order in the prevailing situation, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan said on Wednesday. He was talking to the assistant superintendents of police who participated in the Initial Command Course at the Governor’s House. Dr Ebad said that for the maintenance of law and order, the police, in addition to the routine responsibilities, would have to make extra efforts. He further said that there are additional challenges, and they can be successfully faced through professional capabilities and best use of abilities. He said that while tackling the challenges of terrorism, the LEAs and the police have to come up with good performance.
