Woman arrested in Jhelum for posing as CM Complaint Cell chief
A woman was arrested in Jhelum after allegedly posing as the chairperson of the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell to seek official protocol. Police said she was held along with an accomplice after verification found no link to the institution.

LAHORE: Police in Jhelum have arrested a woman accused of falsely presenting herself as the chairperson of the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell in an attempt to obtain official protocol and related facilities, according to an official press release.
The Jhelum police spokesperson identified the suspect as Mehnaz Saeed and said she introduced herself to city police as the head of the chief minister’s complaint cell. The spokesperson said she requested protocol and other facilities she claimed she was entitled to receive.
Police said the claim was checked with the CM Complaint Cell, which confirmed that Mehnaz Saeed had no link with the institution. After the alleged impersonation was verified as forgery, police arrested her along with an accomplice, the spokesperson said.
The official statement added that liquor was recovered from her vehicle. The press release also said the woman was affiliated with the PTI.
