Three bodies recovered in Gwadar, Kech; Tribal leader’s son wounded in Dera Bugti

GWADAR: Three bodies were recovered in separate incidents in Balochistan’s Gwadar and Kech districts, while a tribal leader’s son was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a house in Dera Bugti, according to officials.
Police in Pasni said they were informed about two bodies lying near Charbandan Cross on the Makran Coastal Highway in Gwadar district. The bodies were shifted to a hospital, where the deceased were identified as Professor Muhammad Siraj Kalonchi and Sardal.
According to police, unidentified attackers shot the two men dead before dumping their bodies at the site and fleeing. After legal formalities were completed at the hospital, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
In a separate incident, police recovered the body of Attaullah from the Dasht Khadan area of Kech district on Saturday. The body was moved to a hospital and, after necessary procedures, was handed over to the victim’s family. In Dera Bugti district, police said unidentified gunmen fired at the residence of a tribal leader in the Lanjo Saffari area, Shakh No 2, injuring his son.
