Rain, thunderstorms forecast for Karachi and other regions ahead of Eid ul Fitr: PMD

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rainfall and thunderstorms in several parts of the country, including Karachi, in the days leading up to Eid ul Fitr.

According to the PMD, Balochistan is expected to experience rain and isolated hailstorms. The department further stated that the hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are likely to receive snowfall, while thunderstorms are anticipated in multiple regions across Pakistan.

The PMD's advisory highlights that the weather system could impact various sectors, including agriculture and transportation, due to the expected precipitation and potential hail in some areas. Residents in the affected regions have been advised to take necessary precautions during the forecast period.
