ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has conveyed Pakistan's solidarity with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the wake of a recent drone attack in Abu Dhabi.
According to an official statement, Dar expressed his support during a telephone conversation with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He condemned the attack and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to standing with the UAE against any threats to its security and sovereignty.
Dar stated, “Pakistan stands in solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the UAE.” He further emphasized that Pakistan strongly condemns such acts that threaten the peace and security of the UAE.
During the call, both foreign ministers discussed the importance of close cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in addressing regional security challenges. Dar reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to support the UAE in ensuring the safety and security of its citizens.
The UAE foreign minister thanked Dar for his expression of solidarity and appreciated Pakistan’s consistent support. The two sides agreed to continue working together to strengthen bilateral relations and address mutual concerns regarding regional stability.
The official statement noted that Pakistan has consistently condemned attacks targeting the UAE and has called for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states in the region.
