Shagufta Ejaz responds to rumours about Ozempic use for weight loss

Shagufta Ejaz, a well-known Pakistani actress who began her career on PTV and continues to remain a prominent face on television, has opened up about the speculation surrounding her recent weight loss. The actress, who also runs a business and creates digital content, has been the subject of intense scrutiny after her noticeably slimmer appearance sparked widespread debate online.

Speaking on the show Subah Se Aagay on Hum News, Shagufta addressed the claims that she used Ozempic to lose weight. She denied the allegation and expressed frustration over media platforms spreading such reports. She said she felt she should take legal action against those circulating misinformation and reminded critics that making baseless assumptions goes against religious teachings.

Her comments, however, did not settle the conversation. Social media users continued to question her stance, with some insisting that the effects of Ozempic were visible, while others speculated about alternative medications. A few users also criticised her family vlogging, arguing that it contradicts the principles she referenced.

Despite her clarification, the online debate around her transformation shows no signs of slowing, as reactions continue to pour in across platforms.
