ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Thursday held a special interactive session with students and teachers from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School System, focusing on national security and the role of informed citizenship.
During the session, the DG ISPR discussed the operational matters of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the country’s internal security environment, encouraging students to develop a deeper understanding of national affairs.
The students and teachers actively participated in the discussion, expressing pride in the armed forces and their commitment to the country’s defence. The principal of Convent of Jesus and Mary paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces, while several students voiced their admiration, saying they were ready to make any sacrifice for the nation’s protection.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif emphasized the importance of verifying information and countering propaganda, particularly on social media. He urged students to think critically and avoid spreading unverified or misleading content, describing awareness as a vital part of national strength.
Teachers at the event commended the efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the nation and stressed the importance of collective resilience against external pressure and misinformation.
