President, Siemens chief discuss cooperation in healthcare sector

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday met with Khurram Jameel, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Healthineers Pakistan and Afghanistan, at Aiwan-e-Sadr to discuss collaboration in cancer care and healthcare infrastructure development.

During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of potential cooperation in medical technology, imaging diagnostics, and the use of artificial intelligence in digital health solutions.

Senator Saleem Mandviwalla also attended the meeting.

The president appreciated Siemens Healthineers’ contributions to Pakistan’s healthcare sector and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to encouraging innovation and investment in health services.
