LONDON: Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met with British Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves on Sunday in London, where they held in-depth exchanges on economic and financial cooperation and other issues of common concern.
He, also the lead official for the China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue, said China and the UK should work together to implement the important consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders, advance the outcomes of the China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue, deepen exchanges and cooperation in all areas of economy and finance, promote mutual benefit and win-win results, and maintain the sustainable, sound and stable development of China-UK economic relations.
Reeves, who is also the British lead official for the dialogue, said the British side attaches great importance to cooperation with China and is willing to strengthen communication to implement the outcomes of the UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue and inject new impetus into bilateral economic cooperation.
