Recent reports indicate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex employ around 11 household staff members, all reportedly earning six-figure salaries, raising eyebrows about their financial resources.
For a long time, Harry and Meghan lacked a steady income stream after stepping back from royal duties. Although Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and her lifestyle brand As Ever have started generating revenue, these sources only began contributing significantly recently. Many observers doubt whether this income alone is sufficient to cover the costs of their Montecito mansion and their expansive payroll.
So, where is the money coming from? Much of the speculation points to Prince Harry’s inheritance from his late mother, Princess Diana, as a major financial cushion. Beyond that, the couple reportedly has some smaller projects, but none that clearly explain their high spending.
