In a statement released on social media, the Palace introduced Queen Camilla’s new “much-loved” canine companion, Moley. The Queen adopted Moley, a “mischievous” Jack Russell Terrier, from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, an organization with which she has long been associated as Patron.
The announcement came alongside a charming photograph of Queen Camilla with Moley, highlighting the bond she shares with her new pet. The Palace also confirmed that the Queen will visit the Royal Horticultural Society and the BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden at the upcoming Chelsea Flower Show. The garden, designed with dogs in mind, offers grassy spaces and shade under a large tree, creating a perfect environment for pets to enjoy.
In addition, the Queen’s beloved former dog, Beth, who passed away last year, will be remembered as her name, along with Moley’s and Bluebell’s, will feature on a commemorative path at the Chelsea Flower Show. King Charles’s dog, Snuff, will also be honored in this garden, which will later be relocated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
This announcement comes shortly after the Prince of Wales’s prestigious recognition, reaffirming the royal family’s ongoing engagement in both public service and their personal passions, including their love for animals.
