ATC AJK reserves Ahmed Farhad’s bail application verdict

MUZAFFARABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Muzaffarabad has reserved its verdict on the bail application filed by Kashmiri poet Ahmed Farhad. The court heard arguments from both sides before deferring its decision.

Farhad’s case has garnered significant attention as he went missing for fifteen days before the Pakistani government announced his arrest in Islamabad on May 29th.

Just two days prior to the bail hearing, the ATC ordered a medical examination of Farhad amid concerns of slow poisoning. The court’s decision on Farhad’s bail plea is awaited.
