Repair work

The parapet wall of Natha Khan Bridge had collapsed over three months ago, but the repair work started recently only when a foreign dignitary paid a state visit to Karachi. It is disheartening that even such essential repairs are not done as a matter of routine. The civic authorities should pay consistent attention to such matters, and ensure timely completion of infrastructure projects across the city.
