Junk food

The availability of junk food in more or less all schools has contributed to childhood obesity. Most schoolgoing children, even when they carry a lunch box to their schools, also carry some cash which they spend on buying junk food. The lunch box is either taken back home or ‘served’ to school staff. Parents should stop giving cash to their children, while the government should ban the sale of junk food in schools.
