Street crime in Karachi

Since the beginning of Ramazan, several lives have been lost in snatching incidents in various parts of Karachi. Do we, the Karachiites, live in a jungle, without the rule of law or the law-enforcement agencies to curb these crimes? For how many more days, months and years would we suffer at the hands of these heartless gangs of dacoits? The authorities concerned should take effective measures before it is too late.
