Ex Chief Secretary Punjab Javed Mehmood passes away

LAHORE: Former chief secretary Punjab and renowned bureaucrat, Javed Mehmood passed away here on Sunday.

Suffering from cancer disease, he was under treatment at Jinnah Hospital Lahore for last few days.

Funeral prayers of Javed Mehmood would be offered at his native village Roshan Bhela, district Kasur at 10 am on Monday.

Leaders of different political and religious parties have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of senior bureaucrat.
