Earlier this month, floods affected several areas of Turbat, such as Sami, Nasirabad, Dasht and Tump. They displaced many people, and caused damage to their crops, houses and other belongings. In Sami village, nine people lost their lives due to floods. People do not have access to basic necessities, such as water and electricity. The people living in this area are dealing with numerous challenges. The affected people need attention. The government should take immediate and effective measures to provide food, drinking water and shelter to these people.
