The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) had invited applica- tions from the general public and overseas Pakistanis in September 2023 for residential plots in sectors G-12 and F-12 of Islamabad. The processing fee, ranging from Rs5,000 to Rs20,000 against various plots of land, was collected by the authority. Moreover, it promised to hold a ballot for plot allocation within two weeks, but the ballot has not taken place even though many months have passed. The FGEHA should update the applicants about the reason behind the delay, and about what lies ahead.
