Pakistan, Georgia sign MoU to formalize Bilateral Political Consultations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Georgia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize Bilateral Political Consultations.

Foreign Secretary Asad Majid Khan and his Georgian counterpart signed the MoU after delegation level inaugrual round of talks between the two countries at Tblisi, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report.

They agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, education, tourism and agriculture. The Foreign Secretary also held separate meetings with Georgian Deputy Ministers of Justice and Economy to discuss matters of mutual interest. Both sides agreed to continue the conversations to further advance bilateral agenda.
