SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a youth was found hanging in his residence in the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased was identified as Owais Gull (27), a resident of Befina Pampore.
Police officials told media men that a youth from Befina committed suicide by hanging in his house.
According to reports, family members saw him hanging and shifted him to the sub-district hospital, Pampore, where doctors declared him dead.
A police party from pampore reached the hospital after receiving information and they took the body under their custody.
After medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to the family for last rites, police officials said.
