Railways police reunite two runaway girls with families

LAHORE: The help desk of Railways Police Lahore station reunited two girls with their families, who had run away from their homes over domestic issues.

Ashifa- one of the two girls of age 13/14 years, had travelled through Narowal to Lahore by Lasani Express train, and the other girl- Umm-e-Kulsoom of age 19/20 years was found unguarded at platform of Lahore railway station by patrolling Head Constable Umer Farooq.
The latter was unable to recall the mobile number of her father, resultantly, railways police arranged her safe drop off to her home.

The heirs of both the girls expressed their heartfelt gratitude to railways police for handing over their daughters unharmed.

Furthermore, the help desks of all major railway stations around the country are fully operational in assistance of passengers and reuniting the lost/runaway children.
