Police approached as dual UK national goes ‘missing’

ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner Christian Turner wrote a letter to an Azad Jammu and Kashmir deputy inspector general (DIG) of police, expressing concerns after a dual United Kingdom national purportedly went missing from a Jhelum town, it emerged Monday.

Zahida Parveen, along with a nephew, went to Dhudial some two months ago and has not returned since.

Police recovered her vehicle from the Islamgarh town of Mirpur in Azad Kashmir.

Police believe Parveen went to settle a domestic property dispute.
