RAWALPINDI: Ambassador of European Union (EU) Ms Androulla Kaminara called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Monday, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the military media wing, during the meeting of EU Envoy with Army Chief Gen. Bajwa, the matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including current Afghanistan situation and bilateral cooperation with the EU came under discussion.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s role in Afghan situation, efforts for regional stability and pledged to play her role for further improvements in diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
