NCOC daily update: 3,974 new cases, 66 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported 3,974 new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Centre said on Wednesday.

The NCOC, a department leading campaign against the pandemic, said that the number of overall confirmed cases has risen to 1,109,274, including 996,426 recoveries.

According to the NCOC, 66 more patients died over the last 24 hours, bringing the overall death toll to 24,639, adding that 4,885 are in critical condition.

Sindh is the worst-affected province by the pandemic with 414,850 infections, followed by Punjab which has reported 374,916 cases.

The NCOC said on its website that the country has administered 44,322,217 doses of vaccines and has fully vaccinated 12,658,359 people as of Tuesday night.
