Family of PML-N MP booked for flouting coronavirus restrictions

LAHORE: A police case was registered against the son and two brothers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MP Mian Javed Latif for gathering a crowd and violating coronavirus restrictions on the arrival of the party’s vice president, Maryam Nawaz, in Sheikhupura.

Sheikhupura deputy commissioner further said a case was also registered against the price control magistrate for violating restrictions on Maryam’s arrival who addressed a worker’s convention in the city.

The case accuses Latif’s son Hassan Javed and two brothers Amjad Latif and Munawar Latif of holding a public meeting in violation of coronavirus protocols. Local PML-N leadership and a host of workers and supporters have also been booked.
