ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan, the country’s highest civil award, upon Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani in recognition of his tedious struggle spanning over decades for the right of self-determination of Kashmiri people.
On his behalf, the award was received by a Hurriyat leader from President Dr Arif Alvi at an investiture ceremony on Friday.
