KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department on Thursday allowed three hospitals for the experimental use of COVID-19 convalescent plasma for passive immunisation against coronavirus.
The hospitals which have been allowed to do so include Civil Hospital Karachi, Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad and Karachi National Institute of Blood Diseases (NIBD) have been allowed for experimental use of convalescent plasma.
A team of experts will supervise the two hospitals and an institute for experimental use of the convalescent plasma for passive immunisation therapy.
