ISLAMABAD: The government on Thursday appointed Ayesha Farooqi as the new Spokesperson of the Foreign Office.
A notification in this connection has been issued and she will soon take charge of her new responsibilities.
She was an earlier dispensing duty as Consul General in Huston, US.
She has replaced current FO Spokesperson, Dr Faisal, who will take the charge as an envoy of Pakistan in Germany.
