Zardari’s health further deteriorates: report

ISLAMABAD: Media reports emerging on Thursday said that the health condition of former president Asif Ali Zardari has further deteriorated with an “abnormal increase in heart rate and chest pain”.

According to the publication, Zardari’s family is considering heart surgery for the PPP’s co-chairman. The hospital sources have said that coronary stents had already been installed in his body.

However, the doctors have warned that an operation may prove dangerous for Zardari.

It is pertinent here to mention that Asif Zardari is under official custody in the fake bank accounts case and is admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.
