ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Division Firdous Ashiq Awan the prime minister was determined to put the country on the right track.
Talking to a private news channel, she said reshuffling in the cabinet is prerogative of the Prime Minister and keeping in view the present situation, it is a positive step.
Appreciating the Asad Umar’s performance, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said Asad Umar being a finance minister did his job well.
On the other hand, Spokesperson to Prime Minister, Nadeem Afzal Chan, has said that former finance minister Asad Umar has no corruption charges to his credit.
Talking to a private media outlet, Chan said reshuffling in the cabinet is a good step of the Prime Minister after reviewing the performance.
Chan also expressed the hope that the changes in the cabinet would have a positive impact on the overall situation in the country.
