UPPER DIR: At least two people died and five others were injured when a vehicle fell into a gorge here on Sunday.
Police said that a vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep ravine due to careless driving and poor condition of the road in district Upper Dir of KP.
“As a result, two people died on the spot in the accident while five others were seriously injured,” said the police.
Soon after the accident, the police and local people through joint efforts pulled the bodies and injured out of the gorge and shifted them to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
