Inquiry ordered against Lahore SP in alleged land grabbing case

An inquiry has been ordered against Superintendent of Police (SP) Muaz Zafar over alleged land grabbing in Shah Alam market in Lahore, Lahore News reported.

The Punjab DIG has directed SSP Operations Mustansar Feroz to conduct the inquiry.

According to reports, Zafar had sent police to retrieve an allegedly illegally occupied plaza from an individual identified as Shahid Bilal and return it to the owner.

Reports further suggest the SP had not filed a case over the matter nor submitted a report.
