Gujranwala Deputy Commissioner Shoaib Tariq Warraich on Friday refused to follow directives to leave his office after he received an abrupt transfer notice, a local media outlet reported.
According to reports, Warraich had notified a petrol pump on GT Road to be razed during an anti-encroachment operation.
However, the petrol pump was owned by an influential politician who filed a complaint against Warraich after which he received his transfer notice.
