LAHORE: Acclaimed Pakistani actor Roohi Bano, who was reported to have gone missing Thursday night, is at her brother’s house and doing well, her sister confirmed on Friday.
According to media reports, the Bano, had disappeared from her home in Lahore.
However, Bano’s sister Rubina quashed the reports saying that Bano is at their brother’s home.
“My sister is fine and is at our brother’s house. She only goes to the Fountain House [a mental health institute] for a check-up,” Rubina shared.
Reports suggest the actor regularly visits the Fountain House for treatment, where a room is also dedicated to her.
Well-educated and presidential award-winning actor, Bano is a patient of schizophrenia. Her only son, Ali, was murdered in 2005.
