PM summons federal cabinet meeting on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a federal cabinet meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at the PM Secretariat.

Country’s overall law and order situation will be discussed during the meeting scheduled for 11:30 am whereas the premier will also take into confidence the cabinet regarding the agreements signed with the Chinese government, a statement issued here on Tuesday said.

Finance Minister Asad Umar will brief the cabinet about the agreements signed in China and the decisions made during the National Security Committee meeting will also be discussed.

Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi will also brief the PM and members of the cabinet regarding the damage inflicted to public property during the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan led three-day protests against Aasia Bibi’s acquittal.
