The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has directed business operators to get their products registered by December 31, as all companies are to register their products separately.
According to a notification issued by the food authority, it will “not allow anyone to sell their unregistered products in markets after the deadline”.
The list of registered products will be up on the PFA website for the public under the Section 2B of the PFA Act.
Registration is to ensure food business operators follow the standards of the PFA Act.
