LODHRAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen said on Saturday that internal party issues should be kept private.
PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi during a press conference on Friday discussed internal rifts in the party over the distribution of ‘unfair’ ticket in South Punjab. He said he did not see Jahangir Tareen as a competitor since Tareen was unable to contest.
Jahangir Tareen, during a press conference in Lodhran declined to comment on Qureshi’s comments but acknowledged he had heard him.
“It would be inappropriate to comment on Qureshi’s statements,” he said.
“These things cannot be done in PTI,” he said, adding that decisions over internal party matter must remain private.
“It is inappropriate to discuss any matters between individuals on the media,” he added.
