Pakistan’s first Super Kabaddi League starts from June 2

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s first Kabaddi Super League (KSL) will be held in Lahore from June 2 to June 10, for which preparations are being finalised.

Players from eight countries including Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Iraq, Kenya and Japan will take part in the event.

The inauguration ceremony of the event will be held on May 1.

The draft for the league will be announced on the 23rd of this month, with more than one hundred twenty players taking part in the process. Teams from Faisalabad, Multan, Gujrat, Karachi, Islamabad, Gwadar and Peshawar will take part in the grand event along with the host team Lahore.

Furthermore, Indian players are also expected to feature in the inaugural edition of the KSL. According to Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Secretary Muhammad Sarwar, the board had sent an invitation to Indian counterparts for participation in the super league.
