LAHORE: The immigration wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday claimed to have arrested three passengers trying to travel using fake documents.
Sources within FIA told media that Khurram Shehzad and Muhammad Afzal reached Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Saturday. While Shehzad was travelling from South Africa, Afzal reached Lahore from Greece by flight number 620.
Similarly, Hasan Riaz travelled on fake documents from Turkey to Lahore. All three passengers were arrested.
They were handed over to the anti-human trafficking cell for further investigation.
On April 1, FIA had arrested a person who illegally went to Greece and was deported from there. FIA sources said that Muhammad Mansha who was sent to Greece by a fake travel agent was detained and deported by Greek authorities.
