PESHAWAR: Students from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on Monday took out a protest rally against the alleged biased behaviour of the provincial police force.
“The police force is being used against us,” said FATA Students Organisation President Shaukat Aziz while addressing the participants outside Governor’s House. “The Inspector General of Police should direct the police to protect us, not use the force against us,” he added.
The students demanded that authorities take action against corrupt elements in the FATA Development Authority.
