KU awards 5 M.Phil and 14 PhD degrees in various disciplines

University of Karachi registrar has notified that Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), University of Karachi, in its meeting held recently under the chairmanship of VC Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, awarded 5 M.Phil and 14 PhD degrees in various disciplines.

PhD degrees were awarded to Hafsa Sattar (Biotechnology KIBGE), Muhammad Asad Khan Tanoli (Chemistry), Anjum Nawab (Food Science & Technology), Syed Muzaffar Hussain (Islamic Learning), Sadia Khalil (Microbiology), Sakina Fatima (Pharmaceutics), Shaikh Abdul Khaliq (Pharmaceutics), Sana Agha Ghayas (Pharmaceutics), Mehir-un-Nisa (Physiology), Naseem Umer (Political Science), Mazahir Ali (Urdu), Nazia Arshad (Zoology), Muhammad Arif Rajput (Law) and Muhammad Hamid (Islamic Learning).

M.Phil. degrees were awarded to Salma Nusrat (Applied Economics Research Centre), Rabel (Chemistry), Saqib Hassan (Chemistry HEJ), Amber Shaikh (Mathematics) and M. Suleman Imtiaz (Pharmaceutics).
